FEED FOR EID
And just like that Ramadaan came and went and will definitely be one that will be remembered in history, May the Almighty Allah except all our fasting, ibadah and intentions Insha Allah. On Monday, 25 May 2020, we found ourselves celebrating the blessed day of Eid, indeed a day with a difference and one for the journal. Social distancing without friends and loved ones, WOW! how weird, sad and strange, yet we made the most of it Alhamdulillah, Eid was received with so much hope, love and light. Remembering Allah's words "Indeed with Hardship comes ease" We could call, video call and message loved ones, shukr Allah for technology. Alhamdulillah for all his blessings and mercy upon us all. This lockdown has made us think now more than ever, a time to reflect, a time to do some introspection, a time to be still and a time to Love not only others but ourselves Subahan Allah. Our Niyaah and intention were made by dressing and feeding those less fortunate on Eid, making their Eid extra special Alhamdulillah.
As my family did not want clothes or anything this Eid it was dedicated to those less fortunate and even though we could not be with our own families we tried and made their day of Eid Extra special Alhamdulillah. Blessing them with our presence. Shukr Allah for giving me and my family and all those who pitched in with there strength and health Alhamdulillah. "Precious Gems Community Organization" you rock. On handing out the parcels, clothing as well as food, the duas, smiles and thanks from these beautiful individuals were priceless. Shukran to my kids, hubby, the Precious Gems NPC staff and friends and especially the sponsors Pagemasters Graphix Las Vegas Roadhouse Classic Meat Market Sheik Abdurahman May Institute, not forgetting those who wish to remain anonymous. Team work is dream work with social distancing. May the Almighty Allah accept our intentions and duas. Keep me and my family and the Precious Gems NPC in your duas, so we can do much more for the poor and needy communities Insha Allah.
