AUNTY TOERIN HITS 99

For the birthday we managed co-ordination, planning and giving a 99th Birthday Bash for Aunty Toerin - Décor and cake was donated by Precious Gems, together with Mix Fit, The Plainsman, Beaconvalley Frail Care, we made Aunty Toerien's 99th Birthday very special. She was overjoyed and really blessed to have reached that age.

Judging High Tea

Precious Gems Community Foundation sponsored the gifts for the three top tables for the high tea hosted by Solomon's Haven and the PRO of Precious Gems Community Foundation was one of the judges for the event Councillor, Mrs Joan Woodman from Colorado, as well as Councillor Washiela Harris from Ward 82, Tafelsig, were the joining judges for this event.

Each and every table that took part in the "Hawaiian Theme" made sure that the took out all the stops which made the task Impossible for the judges but at the end the best three tables took the Crown!!!! Funding was raised towards the need to send the children on a holiday trip later in December to Durban. Precious Gems Community Foundation would like to thank the management of Solomon's Haven for granting us the opportunity to have taken part in making a difference to the lives of these precious gems and for keeping our motto "Hope, Love and Light" alive. We pledge our loyal support to making a difference in the lives of these children and keeping the light of love and hope burning as long as the Almighty grants us our strength to continue, Management salute you!!!!

Open Cupcake Day - Solomon's Haven

Precious Gems Community Foundation had their year end function hosted for Solomon's Haven in the form of a Open Cupcake Day raising needed funding for their yearly holiday trip to Durban. Many donors have contributed towards this event and it was an Epic day filled with fun activities for the young and old alike. Precious Gems Community Foundation would like to give mention to our opening action in the form of "MPPS" Mitchell's Plain Primary School as well as the West End Band. Special thanks to our Ward Councillor, Mrs Joan Woodman and also to Party Parents Children's Event Company for your assistance towards the event and to our Models Aliyah Toyer and also Shumeez from the Shumeez Scott Foundation and last but not least Shegh Ziad Fataar for the closing Dua as well as to the Neighbourhood Watch from New Woodlands that ensured the safety of us all. To each and every volunteer that worked so diligently and without any complaints, Management of Precious Gems Community Foundation say a big shukran to each and every one of you. Lastly to the Founder member of Precious Gems Community Foundation, Shinaaz Adjiet, for the hard work and effort that was put into the event as well as the PRO of the Foundation, Moegammad Shaqeel Dareis, for the excellent planning and running of the event !!!
